Day 1: Slovenia - Ljubljana
Hotel 4*dinner
In the morning meet and greet your guide and travel companions in the lobby of the hotel / airport. After knowing each other we explore the city centre of Ljubljana. The old city centre has a unique architectural appearance, particularly due to its mixture of Baroque and Art Nouveau architecture with masterful creations by the 20th century architect Jože Plečnik. The funicular will take us to the Castle of Ljubljana situated above the town. Time to admire the magnificent view, which on a sunny day stretches all the way to the Alps. Welcome dinner at a local restaurant. We suggest ending the day with a boat cruise on the Ljubljanica River. Overnight stay.
Day 2: Ljubljana - Postojna cave - Lipica - Slovenian Karst - Ham drying facilities - Ljubljana

After breakfast, we drive to the famous underground world of the Postojna Cave. For 140 years, the Postojna Cave - as the only cave in the world - offers a unique and adventurous ride with a special cave train, which will take us into the cave, under spectacular underground arches, which are embellished with chandelier look-alike stalactites, through a beautiful subterranean world full of playful limestone sculptures. Continue to Lipica and visit a stud farm with a more than 400-year-old tradition of breeding and selection of thoroughbred horses. Some free time to enjoy nature. Then we visit the ham-drying facility, where we see the production of the famous Slovenian dried-ham – prosciutto. Tasting of Karst dry-cured ham “pršut” with a glass of local red wine “Teran”. Return to Ljubljana. Overnight.
Day 3: Ljubljana - Radovljica - Bled - Ljubljana

After breakfast, we drive to Radovljica, where we visit the Museum of Apiculture. The museum has attracted numerous visitors from all over the world since 1959, and presents three key themes that mark Slovenian bee-keeping: autonomous race of bees, world renowned bee-keepers and painted frontal boards of beehives. Afterwards we continue to famous for gorgeous lake, considered to be one of the top five attractions in Slovenia. We take a stroll on the banks of Lake Bled and walk up to the ancient Bled Castle. The castle houses a museum with printing workshop where the reconstructed Gutenberg’s wooden printing press is displayed. Its courtyard offers a majestic view of the lake and the surroundings. We take time to enjoy tasting “kremšnita”, the famous Bled cake. Return to Ljubljana and some free time. Overnight.
Suggestion: After visit of the Bled Castle, we take the “pletna” boat and visit the Bled Island, where you can make a wish while ringing the church bell
Day 4: Ljubljana - Zagreb

Breakfast. Drive to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, the biggest city and cultural, industrial and commercial centre. We start our tour at the Ban Jelačić Square, and head to the Upper Town for a taste of Old Zagreb. On our sightseeing tour we will see the Cathedral, the City Museum, the Dolac Market, the Stone Gate, the Gallery of Naive Art and St Mark's Church. In the Lower Town, we see Zagreb's blend of museums and spacious parks as the Strossmayer Gallery, the Archaeological Museum, the Ethnographic Museum and the Zrinjevac Park. Free time for individual sightseeing and shopping. Accommodation in a hotel and overnight.
Day 5: Zagreb - Belgrade

Breakfast. Drive to the capital of the Republic of Serbia – Belgrade. Sightseeing of beautiful historic sights: City Hall, National Parliament, Old Palace, Terazije Square, and Knez Mihailova Street, the beginning of the main pedestrian zone. Walk through the beautiful Kalemegdan Park and the fascinating Belgrade Fortress with an exquisite view on the confluence of two big European rivers – Danube and Sava. Finish of the day in Skadarlija – a bohemian quarter, Belgrade’s main tourist attraction. Here, you can find many good restaurants and cafés that represent the crossroad of East and West Europe in the best way as they are a mixture of modern and traditional worlds. Accommodation in a hotel and overnight.

Day 6: Belgrade

After breakfast we spend our day enjoying in the excellent hospitality of the capital of Serbia. We take time for shopping and individual sightseeing. Our day, filled with leisure, gives us strength to proceed our journey. Overnight.
Suggestion: Boat ride with dinner and local music on the Sava or Danube river
Day 7: Belgrade - Sarajevo

Breakfast. We drive to Sarajevo, the last European city to be under siege which is slowly getting back its former beauty. This Olympic City used to be the most popular of all Yugoslav federal capitals. We stroll around the city centre and see Baščaršija and Gazi Husrev-bey Mosque. Accommodation in a hotel and overnight.
Suggestion: Traditional dinner at Baščaršija (čevapčiči, lepinja, kajmak, and baklava)
Day 8: Sarajevo - Mostar - Medjugorje - Dubrovnik

After breakfast, we continue to Mostar. This is the place which still preserves the ancient architecture in spite of the damages during the last war. We visit a traditional old house and walk over the recently rebuilt Mostar Bridge that spans the emerald green river. Short stop at Medjugorje, a famous pilgrimage centre. From there, we drive along the Neretva River towards the pearl of the Adriatic – Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik has a walled historic centre, which was reconstructed several times due to its tumultuous history of earthquakes and wars. The last attempt for its destruction occurred in 1991-92, when 2,000 mortar shells fell on the main street of Stradun and other monuments and bastions of the city. Accommodation in a hotel and overnight.
Day 9: Dubrovnik

After breakfast, we see all the main tourist attractions and walk around the walls with total distance of over 2km. Free time for individual sightseeing and shopping. Accommodation in a hotel and overnight.
Suggestion: Boat trip to the nearby islands with fish picnic
Day 10: Dubrovnik - Ston - Peljesac - Korcula

Breakfast. We drive to the little village of Ston which possibly has one of the longest walls you will ever see. We enjoy in tasting local fresh oysters and listening to interesting stories of the local people. Then we drive to the narrow peninsula of Pelješac, well known for its local wine, and visit on of their wine cellars. We enjoy in wine tasting with cheese and prosciutto, and the scenery. In the afternoon, we take a ferry to the island of Korčula. We stroll through this beautiful old town, supposedly the birthplace of the great explorer Marco Polo. We walk the narrow streets of the old walled city, which is a great experience. While staying in Korčula, we have a possibility to enjoy in the sword dances of Moreška. Accommodation and overnight stay in Korčula.

Day 11: Korcula - Split - Trogir

Breakfast. In the morning, we take a ferry to Split. Along the way, we enjoy travelling between many islands, like Hvar and Brač. On the arrival to Split, we stroll along the beautiful promenade and visit the enormous Diocletian's Palace, which takes us to the central part of the city that is even more interesting as it is a living-breathing space and not just a mere monument. Accommodation and overnight.
Day 12: Trogir - Krka waterfalls - Pakovo selo - Zagreb

After breakfast, we see one of the best-preserved medieval ports along the Adriatic coast – Trogir. A stroll through the town with its white stone paved streets is a special experience as the town is included in the UNESCO’s List of World Heritage Site. We continue with our journey to the beautiful area around the Krka River and its waterfalls. We enjoy in a boat ride to the waterfalls. Before heading to Zagreb, we go to Etnoland in Pakovo Selo, where we can learn about Dalmatian customs and traditions. Here we enjoy our farewell late lunch in the authentic atmosphere. Afterwards we drive to Zagreb. Evening stroll in the city centre. Accommodation in a hotel and overnight.
Day 13: Zagreb

After breakfast, we meet in the lobby to say farewell to our new friends and travel companions and take the last group photo in memory of the unforgettable moments in Slovenia and its neighbouring countries. Check-out.
