Day 1: VIENNA – SZENTENDRE – BUDAPEST HUNGARY
Hotel 5*breakfast + dinnerMeet and greet your guide at the airport. We cross the state border and we continue our journey towards Hungary. We stop at the town Szentendre which is known for its baroque architecture, churches and colourful houses. We take a stroll among the narrow cobbled streets and enjoy a cup of coffee in one of the cafes on the main square Fő Tér, which is surrounded by art galleries, museums and shops. Just off the square, we visit the 18th-century Greek Orthodox Blagovestenska Church which has elaborate decor and an ornate partition screen. After a short drive, we reach a jewel on the Danube – Budapest. We take a panoramic tour through the Buda and we also visit Citadel, an astonishing city park with monument, before checking-in in the hotel. An evening stroll along the river Danube. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: BUDAPEST HUNGARY
Hotel 5*breakfast, dinnerAfter breakfast we start sightseeing in the Buda part with the 13-century St. Matthias Church and the Fisherman's Bastion a 19th-century fortress with 7 turreted lookout towers offering panoramic views of the city. Then we cross the bridge and enter the Pest a part of the town with the Parliament and other important features of the city where lives one third of the population of Hungary. We visit The Great Market Hall which was built in 1897, and is the most beautiful and largest of all Budapest market halls. The stroll the market and enjoy in tasting of the local produce like fruits, vegetables, dairy products, fantastic salamis, pickles, fresh fish, Hungarian paprika, Tokaj wines and other non-edible local products. We continue walking along the famous Vaci Street to the Gerbeaud Café a traditional coffeehouse opened in 1858, where we can taste the Dobosh Torte. Dobosh, is a Hungarian sponge cake layered with chocolate buttercream and topped with caramel. In the evening, we enjoy in local restaurant called Csarda. We indulge in traditional dinner, try a glass of “palinka” – local fruit brandy and enjoy the folklore program. Overnight stay.
Day 3: BUDAPEST – BALATON LAKE HUNGARY– ZAGREB CROATIA
Hotel 5*breakfast + dinnerAfter breakfast drive to largest lake in Central Europe – the Balaton. Will enjoy the view of the lake from one of the cafes surrounding the lake while tasting “Kurtos Kalacs”. Continue the drive to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, the biggest city and cultural, industrial and commercial centre. We start our tour at the Ban Jelačić Square, and head to the Upper Town for a taste of Old Zagreb. On our sightseeing tour we will see the Cathedral, the City Museum, the Dolac Market, the Stone Gate, the Gallery of Naive Art and St Mark's Church. In the Lower Town, we see Zagreb's blend of museums and spacious parks as the Strossmayer Gallery, the Archaeological Museum, the Ethnographic Museum and the Zrinjevac Park. Free time for individual sightseeing and shopping. In the evening we enjoy our dinner in the local restaurant, where we try a plate of mixed meats including “čevapčiči” - a grilled dish of minced meat found traditionally in the Balkan countries accompanied by local beer or vine. Accommodation in a hotel and overnight.
Day 4: ZAGREB – KRKA WATERFALLS – SPLIT CROATIA
Hotel 5*breafast + dinnerAfter breakfast we continue with our journey to the beautiful area around the Krka River and its waterfalls. The Krka National Park is known for a series of 7 waterfalls. We walk through the Park on various footpaths that lead us to the Skradinski buk, a massive, clear, natural pool with high waterfalls. We stop at the town of Skradin, located on the bank of the Krka river. The town is historically significant and described by many visitors as magical. Continue the drive to Šibenik, where we visit the St. James Cathedral built entirely out of stone. In the afternoon we continue towards the city Split. After accommodating in the hotel we take a stroll on the Split Riviera. Dinner and overnight in Split.
Suggestion: Possible stop at the family owned winery where we enjoy a full 7 course degustation menu among with 7 course wine tasting menu.
Day 5: SPLIT – STON – DUBROVNIK CROATIA
Hotel 5*Breakfast + lunchBreakfast. We stroll along the beautiful promenade and visit the enormous Diocletian´s Palace and its baptistery which was built in 2nd century by the Roman emperor Diocletian and Cathedral of Saint Domnius. We continue the drive to the little village of Ston which possibly has one of the longest walls you will ever see. The walls were built by the Dubrovnik Republic who wanted to protect the town Ston due to its importance in salt making. The salt making tradition in Ston in thousands of years old. We enjoy in tasting local fresh oysters and listening to interesting stories of the local people. Lunch in the restaurant Bota Sare enjoying local sea food. Afternoon drive to Dubrovnik. We cross the new 2,5 kilometers long Pejesac Bridge connecting two banks of Neretva Channel. The bridge makes travel to Dubrovnik much faster, since before one had to drive around the bay through Bosnia. Arrival to Dubrovnik known for its magnificent walled historic centre. Accommodation and overnight.
Day 6: DUBROVNIK CROATIA

Dubrovnik is famous for its historic Old Town and has a walled historic centre, built in 16th century and reconstructed several times due to its tumultuous history of earthquakes and wars. The last attempt for its destruction occurred in 1991-92, when 2,000 mortar shells fell on the main street of Stradun and other monuments and bastions of the city. We see all the main tourist attractions and walk around the walls with total distance of over 2km. Free time for shopping, strolling towns narrow streets and enjoying the salty air. Dinner in a local restaurant enjoying fish dishes with potatoes and mangold on the side with local vine. Overnight in Dubrovnik.

Day 7: DUBROVNIK – BAY OF KOTOR – BUDVA MONTENEGRO
Hotel 5*breakfast + lunchAfter breakfast, we drive to the coast of Montenegro. About an hour's drive from Dubrovnik is located a 15-mile long UNESCO’s World Heritage Site, the Bay of Kotor. It is located between the mountains and the sea, and fringed with oleander, pomegranate and palm trees. The gulf is actually a submerged river canyon and is one of the most spectacular sites in the world. There are several lovely medieval towns nestled in the bays and invite us to visit them, such as Kotor, once known as the “Bride of the Adriatic Sea”, protected by fortified walls, rich with ancient churches and splendid mansions. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant and try the traditional Njeguski Steak. We can also visit Risan, the oldest town in the bay, with mosaics on the floor of a Roman villa, which were uncovered by English archaeologist Sir Arthur Evans. Evening drive to Budva and overnight.
Day 8: BUDVA – LOVĆEN – CETINJE – BUDVA MONTENEGRO
Hotel 5*breakfast + dinnerBreakfast. Drive to the National Park of Lovćen. It is the inspiration behind the names Montenegro and Crna Gora, both of which mean "Black Mountain" and refer to the appearance of Mount Lovćen when covered in dense forests. Take a short walk to the top of the mountain with amazing panoramic views of the Bay of Kotor. On the top there is also a mausoleum of the famous Montenegro poet Njegoš. In the afternoon drive to the city of Cetinje, the former capital of Montenegro. Explore the old city centre and taste the famous Njegushi ham and cheese. Return coastal city of Budva, known for its sandy beaches and rich nightlife.
Day 9: BUDVA – SVETI STEFAN MONTENEGRO – MAKARSKA RIVIERA CROATIA
Hotel 5*breakfast + dinnerAfter braeakfast drive to nearby town of Sveti Stefan. The town is situated on a small island that is connected to the mainland by a narrow tombolo. It is one of the most famous and most luxurious resorts in Montenegro. Stroll the town´s narrow streets and enjoy a swim in the clear waters of Adriatic Sea. Afternoon drive back to Croatia to Makarska region full of pine trees. Dinner in a local restaurant called Konoba, where we will taste the local dishes prepared in a special way. Octopus will be slow-cooked in a special pot buried in embers. Overnight in Makarska.
Day 10: MAKARSKA RIVIERA – TROGIR – ZADAR – OPATIJA CROATIA
Hotel 5*breakfast + lunchAfter breakfast we head off to Trogir, one of the best preserved medieval ports along the Adriatic coast. A stroll through the town with its white stone paved streets is a special experience as the town is included in the UNESCO’s List of World Heritage Site. After strolling the town´s centre, we continue to another historically important city on the Adriatic coast – Zadar. It was the capital of Byzantine Dalmatia, which boasts of many different architectural aspects from the Roman times onwards. We stroll through the Old City and see some major sights: Church of St. Donatus, Bishop’s Palace, remains of the town square. In town we also enjoy local lunch, where we taste local Pasman cheese, anchovies and olives and enjoy local vines. We continue our drive towards Opatija a Croatian coastal town on the Adriatic Sea. A fashionable resort in the 19th century, it's dotted with Habsburg-era villas. The Lungomare is a promenade that snakes along the coastline, offering views of the town and neighbouring islands. Overnight.
Day 11: OPATIJA CROATIA – POSTOJNA – LIPICA – GORICA REGION SLOVENIA
Hotel 4* superiorbreakfast + dinnerAfter breakfast we drive towards the Karst area in Slovenia. First will visit the famous underground world of the Postojna Cave. We take a small train to drive us through the cave while we enjoy in its underground secrets. Postojna Cave is the only place where you can see the most precious brilliant in the form of a cave formation and also meet the baby dragons. Just like the world above the surface, Postojna Cave boasts towering mountains, murmuring rivers and vast subterranean halls. We continue our journey to the Lipica Stud Farm with more than 400-year-old tradition of breeding and selection of thoroughbred horses. Some free time to enjoy the nature. In the afternoon will drive Goriška brda, also know as Slovenian Tuscany is a fairy tale landscape, nested halfway between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea, with abundance of beauties, attractions and experiences. The villages are mostly surrounded by the greenery of vineyards and orchards with roads, track and paths winding among them. Here on this green piece of the earth, the world-famous wines are produced. In the evening will experience local slow food dinner with vine tasting. Overnight.
Day 12: SOČA VALLEY – VRŠIČ PASS – KRANJSKA GORA – BLED SLOVENIA
Hotel 5*breakfast + lunchAfter breakfast we drive through Goriška Brda, from where we have a spectacular view of the Slovenian mountains and the Venice Lagoon, to the Soča valley, the most beautiful region in Slovenia. Will visit the Tolmin Gorge, where beautiful nature and water create magic colours and forms. A walk in nature, on the Emerald route, will fill you with energy. We continue to Kobarid, where you can visit the Kobarid museum of World War I, presenting a millennium of the turbulent history of Kobarid, and you can walk up a hill from which a beautiful view of an ossuary of Italian soldiers can be seen. Also possible to do short hike to waterfall Kozjak near by. This popular natural sight creates the image of a heavenly corner hidden from the everyday world by tall, dark walls, covered in limestone sediments, just like in the karstic caves. Continue to Bovec, to the small village of Čezsoča. We will stop to do some sightseeing and refreshment at the Soča river with wonderful views of the Julian Alps. Will take late lunch and will taste local Soča traut Then we continue the drive over the pass Vršič to the Slovenian Alpine region and finish the day in Kranjska Gora, famous ski resort of Slovenia. Short drive to Bled. Accommodation and dinner. Overnight stay.
Day 13: BOHINJ – BLED – LJUBLJANA SLOVENIA
Hotel 5*breakfast + dinnerAfter breakfast, we drive to Bohinj Lake, Slovenia's largest natural permanent lake, which lies in a glacial hollow. The largest inflow to the lake is the Savica River, which bursts from the walls of Komarča. We continue towards the most renowned lake of Slovenia, the Bled Lake. We explore the city of Bled, and visit the historical Bled Castle where the Castle Master expects us. After visiting the castle, we can take a ride on a pedal boat to the island, where you can make a wish while ringing the church bell (supplement). Once in Bled, will take time to have the famous Bled cake “kremšnita” (cream cake) while enjoying the view of the lake. Dinner at the local restaurant. Drive to Ljubljana, Slovenian capital, accommodation in hotel and overnight.
Day 14: LJUBLJANA SLOVENIA
Hotel 5*breakfast + dinnerAfter breakfast, we explore city centre of Ljubljana. At Breg embarkment pier we will board for a cruise along the city centre section of the Ljubljanica River. After that we go on a walking tour of the old city centre. It has a unique architectural appearance, particularly due to its mixture of Baroque and Art Nouveau architecture with masterful creations by the 20th century architect Jože Plečnik. The funicular will take us to the Castle of Ljubljana situated above the town. Time to admire the magnificent view, which on a sunny day stretches all the way to the Alps. Return to the centre where we visit the famous open market. Will stop at Klobasarna and will have small snack, tasting the famous “Kranjska klobasa” well known Slovenian sausage. Free time to enjoy individual sightseeing, walks, or purchasing souvenirs. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay.
Day 15: LJUBLJANA – (ŽALEC – BEER FOUNTAIN – OPTIONAL)- MARIBOR SLOVENIA – VIENNA AUSTRIA
Hotel 5*breakfast + dinnerMorning departure to Maribor, the capital of the Štajerska region. On the way to Maribor stop in Trojane to taste the famous doughnut. On the way we can do stop in Žalec. Visit a beer fountain, the one and only in the world and taste of Slovenian local beers, from green to dark beer and to learn how to say ”Na zdravje”. On arrival to Maribor will take a walk in the city center, the embankment of the Drava River and through the lively streets and squares, where history and tradition are blended with dynamics and modernity. Let Lent, the oldest part of the town, enchant you with its Old Vine, the oldest vine in the world, the medieval towers, and remains of the old town walls. We also visit the Grajski trg Square with the castle and museum, the Glavni trg Square with the Plague monument and the Town hall, the Bishop Slomšek’s Cathedral with its viewing tower. In the late afternoon we continue the drive to Vienna. Circular tour of the city of Vienna and pass the Vienna Opera House (Wiener Staatsoper), the Art History Museum (Kunsthistorisches Museum), the Natural History Museum (Naturhistorisches Museum), Austrian the Parliament Building (Parlament or Hohes Haus), the University of Vienna (Universität Wien), the Vienna City Hall (das Rathaus), the Stock Exchange (Die Börsenfachgeschäft) etc. Will end the journey in the local restaurant having the famous “Wienersnitzle” and for desert will take Strudl or Saher cake. Dinner in the local restaurant. Overnight.
Day 16: VIENNA AUSTRIA
Hotel 5*breakfastBreakfast. Take a walk and go from Hofburg to the Cathedral of St. Stephen (Der Stephansdom). Free time for individual sightseeing and shopping. Until the departure to the airport. End of service.
